INTRODUCTION

This module will support you in understanding ways effective networking and marketing can help your clients’ community and therefore your business to grow. Tips and methods will be offered on building strong business partnerships, joining the right (digital) networking platforms, creating marketing strategies and promoting your activity the best way possible, without expensive advertising, which may not be successful.

WHY IS THIS UNIT RELEVANT FOR A SOLOPRENEUR

Solopreneurs are solely responsible for finding clients and building their community. Using networking as a means to form relationships with others, in like or related fields, is crucial for them to expand their business' ability to find new customers, partners and grow. Similarly, good solopreneur marketing is essential for attracting new customers and business growth.

Solopreneurs usually lack manpower and time when it comes to performing additional tasks beside their core activities, therefore knowledge which they need in order to be able to start networking confidently or have a better insight about highly effective marketing strategies is essential.

RELATION TO OTHER UNITS OF MYVA MINI MBA

The main topics of this Module focus on effective networking, building on collaborative relationships and marketing strategies. Understanding the main issues along these themes does not necessarily require previous knowledge about topics referred to in the rest of the MyVA Modules. Nevertheless, it is advisable to work through this Module after going through the previous ones, because it is important first to understand the specifics of the solopreneur virtual assistant (VA) context.
